Are you Full?

In One Thousand Gifts, Ann Voskamp, writes: It takes a full 20 minutes after your stomach is full for your brain to register satiation. How long does it take your soul to realize that your life is full? The slower the living, the greater the sense of fullness and satisfaction.

How will I know when my life is full? When everything is Ok? But what is Ok?

Maybe it’s all Ok now. Perhaps everything is perfectly full just as it was meant to be in this moment.

Yes — my soul is beginning to sense what has always been true. My life IS full!

But the beautiful thing about God is His promise to overflow. The expands my capacity of fullness until it is even more full.

And more
And more

There is no end to the fullness of God.

  1. This is beautifully written, Beth. I definitely notice that full feeling lately, and it feels great. I can’t wait to see what else is in store. 🙂 Merry Christmas, my friend!
