When I turn to face You, this is worship.

When I pause in the middle of a busy moment, day, life — and notice the butterfly. Worship.

When I take 5 minutes to write instead of sleeping another 7. Worship.

When it’s not about me, and I let it be at least a little about You. When my mind won’t shake a song that holds the grain of truth I need to plant in the morning and water throughout the day.

When I smile at a stranger. Whisper a prayer for another. Give instead of receive.

You call it Worship.

I call it the place my heart is most at Rest.

Oh, for a thousand tongues to sing my Great Redeemer’s praise.
The glories of my God & King. The triumphs of His grace.

P.S. Read these words on worship, too, and stop worrying about how your worship looks. Perhaps the messy kind is best! http://emmaryandesign.blogspot.com/2013/08/worship.html#comment-form

Oh Beth — beautiful, beautiful!! Your thoughts and mine are similar, I think! The place where my heart is most at rest. (*sigh) Oh to remember this in the midst of the busy days! Thank you for sharing!
