More or Less (a poem of sorts)

The key is more
or less

Deeper
or taller
Strength
or vulnerability

Keep it simple
or aim farther
More passion
or less emotional

Freedom to move in wide open spaces
or a more narrow, focused view

Fearing the wrong choice
Swirling in a whirlpool
of sameness

Another lap down
without forward progress

Spinning is not the same as moving
More or less

  2. Beth, I love to swim, and your words here speak into my current life situation. Sometimes, poetry says it best. So lovely to connect with you through Three-Word Wednesday! Blessings 🙂
