MY MISSION: To know God and live in the fullness of His best. And through an authentic, courageous life, to spur others to embrace their own awesomeness.

Who Am I? I’m Just Beth.

In my 40 years, the “who is Beth” definition has changed – Student. Friend. Daughter. Sister. Writer. Roommate. Journalist. Wife. Mom. Real Estate Agent. Life Coach. Then not a Life Coach.

So this site is about all of that — about my journey to be just Beth through an Authentic, Wholehearted life. And how I believe YOU were created to be JUST YOU. I hope my story inspires you to be the one-and-only you to your fullest!

Authentic is a word I’ve been chewing on for several years now. Being Real. Being Me. No faking it. No pretending. Just Being Beth. Whatever that might mean.

Wholehearted is a word was introduced to through the amazing book The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene’ Brown. It resonates deep in my soul in a way that immediately told me that to Live Wholeheartedly is a goal more than worthy of my energy and resources.

So here I am … on the journey to a wholehearted, authentic life. And, frankly, I have no idea where this will take me, but I am CERTAIN there is no better path.

Cool journey to be on. And nice to stumble upon a fellow Brene Brown fan. Have you read Daring Greatly yet? (I’m half way through, it’s a great read.)

I just love how you say, “I’m just Beth.” My blog name came about because I’d always say, “I’m simply Beth.” I love how God connected us in this blogging world. 🙂

  6. I am looking forward to following your blog, Beth. It sounds as if we are on a similar journey–trying to be the women God created us to be. I really like your “voice” and am eager to read more. God bless you!

I am so excited for you Beth – do you remember all those years ago when I shared that I believed that God had amazing plans for both of us beyond what we were doing at the time? He has brought both of us beyond what we thought we had to have to places where He can actually use us – that is exciting and scary!
You will be a great life coach, encouraging and insightful as well as helpful. Please let me know what I can do to help you …
    Blessings my friend…

  8. Hi Beth,

Yes being our Authentic selves is the hardest part, we get so caught up in titles and the ideas that others express and impress upon our beings that it is easy to get lost. It’s great to see that someone is speaking up, speaking out and just being who the Creator meant for them to be.

It was great meeting you however briefly and I will say the journey will open up more of you than you could ever have imagined. Be sure to save some of it for yourself and share the rest with others.

Congratulations on your desire to be Authentically Beth!
